Leaderboard

The Leaderboard system in Wild Forest is designed to address the fundamental challenges of Web3 gaming caused by an open economy and asset ownership. It serves as a key incentive, offering substantial rewards that motivate competition, and diverse opportunities to varying skills, power, and resources. Players can select their preferred difficulty level aligned with their deck strength that ensures fair competition.

The Leaderboard is a weekly long event that groups people by division. Each division has its own rewards pool, rules, and matchmaking, ensuring fair competition for any player.

Leaderboard system rules:

  • Duration: Leaderboard “seasons” are called Tours and last for one week. At the end of each Tour, players with the highest Leaderboard Points will receive the rewards.

  • Divisions: All players are grouped into Divisions that can be joined by any player at any time. Each Division has its own restrictions, rules, and rewards.

  • Division rules: Each division has its own Deck cap and Buildings power. Higher Divisions have higher caps, offering a more competitive challenge.

  • Deck cap: Units in each division will be limited by maximum Unit rank and level. Player Units will be scaled to the division limitation to ensure fair competition.

  • Leaderboard Points: Players will gain Leaderboard Points by winning battles and no points for losing.

  • Points Decay: Leaderboard points for battle wins will decay every battle providing a soft limit to the number of daily battles. This limit resets daily or when players change divisions.

Rewards

Each division has its own rewards distributed to the top players, creating incentives and equal opportunity across all divisions. Rewards include containing $WF tokens, Gold, Shards, and NFTs.
