Unit Fragments is an NFT in Wild Forest, created to introduce new Units into the game.
Since the new Unit will have no initial supply, it would take too long to accumulate enough Units from rewards, making it unusable for a long time, as those will be too weak.
To address this, players can mint Fragments daily and redeem them for new Units in the future. This allows all players to exchange Fragments for an in-game Unit, creating an initial supply for newly released Units.
Players can collect 1 Fragment per day via a free mint (covering the transaction cost only).
Every 20 Fragments can be redeemed into an in-game Unit! Note: Minting this Unit to NFT will require a $WF fee.
Fragments are universal, they work for any new Unit. This means you can save Fragments for future Unit releases if you’d like.
Fragments are personal and fragile. If they are transferred or sold, they will break and become unusable. This will prevent botting and unfair extraction. Fragments will be locked from transfers in the future.
Lords stakers can mint extra Fragments daily, boosting their ability to acquire new Units.
