# Player progression

In Wild Forest, players have several progression paths that combine guided onboarding, regular progression, and competitive challenges.

After completing the Tutorial, players start with the Novice Bounty Board. This is a beginner-focused board with simple tasks that introduce the main game features and systems. Completing these tasks grants basic rewards and helps players understand core mechanics. Progress on the Novice Bounty Board is shown through a clear progression scale, giving a strong sense of advancement. After finishing the Novice Bounty Board, players unlock access to the main Bounty Board, where they can complete weekly tasks and earn regular rewards.

The Trophy Road is the main long-term progression path in Wild Forest. Players earn trophies by winning battles, and trophies move them forward along the Trophy Road. Each milestone unlocks rewards, including Gold, Shards, and new in-game Units. Trophy Road progression reflects overall gameplay activity and skill development.

The Trophy Road Leagues organize players by the number of trophies, with each league offering progressively better rewards and broader Unit access in Battle Pass chests.

The Leaderboard system is focused on competitive play. Leaderboards can run for different durations, from 1 day to a full week.

Leaderboard has its own rules, deck requirements, and reward pool. Rewards can include in-game items such as Gold and Shards, as well as blockchain-based rewards, including Unit NFTs and $WF tokens.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://wildforest.gitbook.io/whitepaper/metagame/player-progression.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
